Public Relations & Digital Marketing Account Executive

Medley Inc. is seeking an experienced and creative communications professional to join our team as a Public Relations & Digital Media Account Executive. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of PR fundamentals, a flair for digital content strategy, and a collaborative spirit. This is a hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with the opportunity for full-time employment after an initial contract period. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in public relations, digital marketing, and/or content marketing, preferably in an agency setting. Proven success in developing media relationships and managing digital campaigns across platforms. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Creativity and willingness to experiment with new technologies and trends Deep understanding of social media best practices and digital content strategy Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills Strategic thinker who can also execute with precision Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Proactive, self-motivated, and dependable Ability to build and sustain strong client and media relationships Passion for storytelling and exploring emerging media channels Primary Responsibilities Public Relations Develop and write press releases, media alerts, and feature stories Respond to media inquiries and fulfill press requests Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media coverage for clients Cultivate and manage relationships with local and national media Draft and implement communication strategies for crisis situations Lead strategy for digital campaigns Oversee client content calendars developed by copywriters and graphic designers, and ensure alignment with overall strategy Direct creative teams to enhance visual storytelling Client & Community Engagement Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, anticipating needs and adding value Liaise with key stakeholders, board members, and community partners as needed Provide support for events including script writing and run of show coordination Identify and recommend upsell opportunities to enhance client accounts Translate client goals into actionable communications plans Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with precision At Medley, we offer: Flexible Schedules in a Hybrid Environment Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, along with 401(k) and Employer Matching Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid parental leave Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77004 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77004: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77004
