We are hiring an Assistant Social Media Manager to work directly alongside the founder in a high-impact role at a pivotal stage of growth. This position sits at the intersection of content, culture, strategy, and execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Full ownership of assigned social media profiles from strategy to publishing to performance optimization
Run daily communications with clients and their teams while owning the full social calendar including planning, scheduling, approvals, and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
Lead content capture shoots with clients including BTS, organic shoots, curated photo dumps, and real-time cultural moments
Edit high-performing short-form video content including Reels, TikTok, and Shorts optimized for engagement, retention, and platform algorithms
Track cultural trends, pitch creative concepts, and shape weekly content strategy aligned with content pillars, positioning, and long-term narrative
Manage paid brand partnerships and platform deliverables with precision
Own analytics, reporting, and performance insights translating data into strategic action
Maintain digital asset management and file organization across Dropbox, WeTransfer, and internal systems
What You Bring:
2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy
Strong content capture capabilities across photo and video with a refined aesthetic eye
Advanced short-form editing skills CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, Edits, or similar platforms
Deep understanding of social media algorithms, audience growth, engagement metrics, and platform best practices
Strategic fluency in content pillars, brand voice, public image, and narrative building
Exceptional organization and strong project management discipline
Confident communicator comfortable managing client relationships
Self-directed and accountable with the ability to move quickly and independently
Sharp with people and energy with the ability to read the room and communicate with intention
A genuine interest in pop culture, storytelling, digital behavior, and evolving media standards
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience working with talent or high‑visibility brands
Long‑form video editing experience YouTube or podcast content
Experience creating strategic decks, performance reports, or growth presentations
Formal photography or videography experience
