Who We Need This position will be responsible for the leadership and operational oversight of a city\'s parking accounts. This role will identify and secure revenue-generating locations, maintain client relationships, and supervise full-time and part-time employees. Handle cash according to set procedures and make deposits following proper guidelines.
Responsibilities
Provides supervision and oversight to team members and administrative associates responsible for daily parking operations, monitoring lots, dispatching and assigning staff, assisting customers, responding to issues, and assisting with hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
Plans, develops, and administers on-street and off-street parking facilities and programs, goals, objectives, and priorities; participates in long-range planning for public and on-street parking areas.
Recommends and implements policies and procedures; conducts long-range planning and service improvement recommendations to leadership; establishes service levels and labor requirements.
Selects, assigns, monitors, evaluates, and provides professional guidance to staff managing operations.
Manages public outreach to maintain and improve community relations; solicits feedback; presents historical data and recommendations to city officials in public settings.
Submits budget recommendations; monitors expenditures; communicates budget variances to leadership.
Promotes safety, maintains audit controls within the unit, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Actively seeks new business opportunities while managing the full sales cycle, including pursuing cold leads, developing proformas, operating budgets, writing proposals, responding to RFPs, and transitioning to new locations.
Ideal Candidate Skills
Knowledge of PARCS preferred
1-2 years of experience working with clients or handling property operations
Minimum Required Qualifications
Experience working in Microsoft Suite applications
High level of professionalism
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
