
The Sales Coordinator will be dedicated to assisting the sales team promoting sales and participating in various off site sales events. The Sales Coordinator will provide excellent customer service to exceeding the customer’s expectations.
Key Tasks
Enthusiastically embrace the MarineMax values by assisting the sales team with sales events and promotions and prospecting to increase sales.
Invites customers to sales dock and provides customers with sales information, brochures and publications containing sales, special events and promotional information.
Confer with customers in person or by telephone to answer questions regarding sales, events or promotions including schedules, locations and points of interest, restaurants, hotels, dock space, or other marina accommodations.
Actively engage in phone sales, follow‑up calls and business networking.
Actively participate in boat shows and other off‑site promotions.
Develop long‑term relationships with customers.
Project a professional and knowledgeable image to all customers.
Assist with creation of event flyers and other local sales materials.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public.
Assist customers at the Marina and sales docks.
Demonstrate basic Seamanship skills to assist customers at marina.
Perform administrative duties to support sales team.
Other duties as assigned.
