required to join a growing European manufacturer who leads the market in industrial filling machines, and cover the Midwest.

This will be a multi state territory.

will come from an Automation background from the food and beverage industry selling filling machines, seamers, robotic handling, robotic case packers, depalletizers and palletizers.. This role is more about the individual, being a hunter for new business and self sufficient in their territory. You will be reporting into the Sales Director, who will teach and develop on the technical aspect and the companies bespoke products.

Responsibilities

Understand client needs and develop custom proposals integrating weighing, filling, bagging, cartoning, case forming, conveying, palletizing, and related automation

Work closely with territory managers to qualify leads, present solutions, and support both pre- and post-sales stages—including equipment demos and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Create detailed technical proposals and cost estimates, collaborating with engineering and finance to ensure accuracy and profitability.

Support system startup and commissioning, providing operation and troubleshooting training alongside field service teams

Stay informed on packaging trends (e.g., food, pharmaceutical, consumer goods) and leverage knowledge to develop business in new and existing markets

Sales Engineer/ Sales representative / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging) or equivalent technical field.

3+ years in technical sales or applications engineering within packaging automation, material handling, or related sectors.

Strong understanding of automation equipment, including conveyors, baggers, fillers, robots, and line integration.

Experience with sales processes (FAT/SAT), quoting systems, and technical documentation.

Based in the Midwest to cover several state territory.
