
HydroPro Solutions – Sales Account Manager (Northern California)
HydroPro Solutions is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to help grow and support our expanding presence across Northern California. This role is focused on serving municipal water and wastewater customers throughout the region, primarily north of San Francisco, with frequent travel across the territory.
We’re seeking someone who knows how to build trust, create long‑term partnerships, and represent a company with professionalism and integrity. The ideal candidate is based in Northern California, has a strong background in territory sales, and understands the pace and process of working with cities, water districts, and public agencies.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys independence, values relationship‑driven selling, and is motivated by making a real impact in the communities we serve.
What You’ll Do
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing HydroPro customers
Identify new opportunities to grow our presence with municipalities and utility agencies
Support bid processes, contracts, and project coordination
Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle
Work closely with HydroPro leadership, internal teams, and partner OEMs to deliver the right solutions
HydroPro’s solutions support water utilities through products, service, and long‑term support—this role is about helping customers modernize and maintain infrastructure while improving efficiency and reliability.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of regional/territory sales experience
Ability to learn and confidently communicate HydroPro product lines and partner OEM solutions
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify customer needs and sales opportunities
Experience with municipal bid processes, contracts, and public purchasing requirements
Proven success in an independent sales role with minimal daily supervision
Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to earn trust over time
Comfortable working in competitive, performance‑based environments
Working knowledge of water and wastewater systems (required)
Experience in government, municipal, or public‑sector sales (highly preferred)
We value someone who is consistent, reliable, and understands that in the water industry, trust is earned through follow‑through.
Professional Expectations This role requires regular interaction with city staff, district leadership, engineering teams, and field personnel. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent HydroPro confidently are essential.
Working Conditions
Frequent travel throughout Northern California (primarily by car)
Occasional overnight and weekend travel
Ability to work outside a traditional Monday–Friday schedule as needed
Home‑office based role (candidate must reside in Northern California)
Tools and resources needed for the role will be provided.
Compensation This position includes a competitive base salary + commission, based on experience.
