Position Overview We are looking for a Sales Executive – Citizen Identity (Government) to develop new business within the United States Government sector. The role requires expanding in assigned territory, achieving new logo, product placement, and revenue goals. The executive will develop a qualified pipeline of new business, identify, engage, close opportunities, and work closely with account managers for post‑close transition.

Responsibilities

Act as regional sales expert for identity solutions, partner within the organization to bring competitive knowledge and industry expertise for government sales opportunities.

Develop a qualified pipeline of new logos, product expansion, and strategic market placement for Entrust in the government sector.

Create account planning and specific opportunity planning for identity solutions, and execute against that plan.

Build relationships with decision makers within targeted accounts, maintain deep understanding of customers’ profiles to influence strategies and pursue sales opportunities.

Prospect daily, leverage referrals, collaborate with other Sales Executives for cross‑sell opportunities and account management strategy.

Listen to and interpret customer requirements, build knowledge of customer challenges, and propose technical solutions that directly meet customer needs.

Partner with Pre‑Sales or SMEs to provide product presentations/demos to prospects and customers.

Stay abreast of new product or capability developments that benefit government sales.

Participate in proposal development and work with Technical Sales Consultants and other SMEs in the development of business impact modeling tools.

Maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings and provide competitive account and market intelligence to product marketing and management.

Leverage forecasting and financial planning tools via the CRM system and other reports to build accurate pipeline and planning.

Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan.

Accurately forecast orders and manage funnel of opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience to Public Sector/Federal Government, selling authentication, digital security, or identity solutions.

Understanding of U.S. Public Sector contract process and vehicle types.

Successful track record of developing sales, service, bid management, and solutions delivery in identity programs, executing effectively against plans.

Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, partners, and colleagues.

Proven success prospecting, building a solid pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, and presenting solutions to C‑level and other decision makers.

Strong understanding of sales cycle, macro and micro business trends, and post‑sales follow‑up.

Must be able to lawfully work within the U.S. and have unrestricted work authorization.

Approximate 40% travel expected, including local, domestic, and some international travel.

High School, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proven consultative selling abilities, including experience selling SaaS solutions.

Experience selling digital identity solutions.

Fluency in additional languages beyond English is a plus.

Benefits & Compensation Anticipated starting base pay: $93,699–$137,426 per year. Eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan based on achievement of targets.
