Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and driving performance of a team of Inside Sales Account Executives focused on Non-QM mortgage products. This role plays a critical part in leading National and inside sales accounts, expanding market share, increasing loan production, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality borrower and broker experience. The Inside Sales Manager sets daily sales expectations, monitors pipeline activity, enforces sales discipline, and partners closely with Account Management, Underwriting, and Closing to ensure efficient execution from lead to funding. This position reports to the VP, National and Inside Sales. Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Inside Sales Account Executives specializing in Non-QM loan products Establish clear production goals, activity metrics, and performance expectations aligned with company targets Monitor individual and team performance using CRM, LOS, and call metrics Conduct regular pipeline reviews, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance feedback discussions Develop and execute strategies to improve conversion rates, pull-through, and funded volume Coaching, Training & Development
Provide ongoing coaching on Non-QM guidelines, product positioning, and consultative sales techniques Train Account Executives on borrower qualification, scenario and loan structure, and expectation setting Partner closely with Training and Development and Business Development teams to roll out new programs, guidelines, and pricing updates Identify skill gaps and create development plans to strengthen sales effectiveness Sales Strategy & Execution
Drive outbound and inbound sales activity through disciplined call cadence and follow-up Ensure effective lead management, prioritization, and timely response standards Support Account Executives with complex loan scenarios and escalations Collaborate with Marketing to optimize lead sources and campaigns Attends company business review meetings and leads discussion for area of responsibility addressing growth strategy and KPIs as needed Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Account Management, Underwriting, and Closing teams to ensure smooth loan execution Address operational bottlenecks impacting sales performance or borrower experience Qualifications
Required: 3–5+ years of mortgage sales leadership experience, with significant exposure to Non-QM lending Prior experience managing or leading inside sales, call-center, or account executive teams Strong understanding of Non-QM products, borrower profiles, and alternative income documentation Proven ability to coach sales professionals to consistent performance improvement Proficiency with mortgage CRM and Encompass platforms Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred: Experience scaling inside sales teams in a high-growth mortgage environment Demonstrated success driving funded loan volume through inside sales channels Knowledge of investor guidelines and Non-QM market dynamics
