Airgas is hiring for an Account Manager - New Business Development Representative in Jacksonville, FL. We offer base pay plus commission, a monthly auto allowance, and travel within the assigned territory with minimal overnights. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance. Responsibilities

Account Manager / New Business Development is responsible for managing the sales process and advancing profitable sales growth within an assigned market area for both existing and new Airgas customers.

Meet and surpass organizational and regional milestones for profitable sales growth, accounts receivable management, and customer retention within the assigned area.

Build and nurture relationships and provide solutions to both existing and new Airgas customers using technology to enhance effectiveness.

Develop and implement sales plans utilizing Airgas' sales initiatives to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts; qualify and connect with sales leads.

Nurture customer relationships by understanding the customer's business and establishing a consultative relationship.

Prepare sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimated delivery dates based on Airgas' production/delivery schedules and logistics.

Stay current with industry insights, Airgas product mixes, and market trends; gather marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

Collaborate with internal resources to achieve milestones; maintain clear communication with internal departments regarding customer successes, opportunities, and new developments.

Maintain and submit sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses) as requested by the District Manager through SAP.

Actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to protect Airgas working capital and reduce financial risk.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration.

Preferred:

3+ years in outside business-to-business sales, including effectiveness in solution-selling concepts and experience supporting customers within an assigned customer community.

Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, or a background in industrial gas / welding supply sales, is valuable.
