We are an 80-bed regional hospital located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. We have received much recognition locally and nationally for the patient experience, including being one of five hospitals in the country to be a Planetree Designated Hospital and being recognized by J.D. Glenwood Springs is at the crossroads of the Rocky Mountains, the gateway to Aspen and Vail, Colorado. The area offers ski resorts, hot springs, river rafting, paragliding, hiking, cycling, fishing, and countless other outdoor activities. It is located on the Western Slope of the Rockies, a little over two hours from Denver and just over an hour from Grand Junction.
Our hospital is building a new state-of-the-art Cancer Center located in the center of the Colorado Rockies. We currently provide chemotherapy but the addition of radiation therapy is necessary. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing the services provided and in opening the new center, which is designed with the look and feel of an alpine resort.
Responsibilities The selected Director will lead the development and implementation of the cancer center’s clinical and operational services, manage the opening of the facility, and ensure that the center delivers a patient-centered, high-quality care experience aligned with our hospital’s standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Oncology experience.
At least five years of progressive administrative responsibility for a patient-care service.
Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
Business and marketing experience is preferred.
