Eisai is in the midst of a key product launch focused on educating HCPs about a treatment for mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) will develop and execute business plans, generate demand, and provide critical clinical information to customers within their assigned geography. Responsibilities
Drive sales and demand generation by effectively conveying complex clinical information to customers and key stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and execute strategic key‑account plans. Communicate a successful patient pathway to customers. Anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges with HCPs in the assigned geography. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support hospital formulary decisions. Conduct ongoing analysis for assigned IDNs (market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, referral process, access, and patient pathway). Engage and influence key customers, including hospital systems, to sustain a strong presence in the Alzheimer’s marketplace. Seek mentorship to build key sales skills. Qualifications
Specialist – AD:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years experience in two or more of: infusion, diagnostic, biologic, medical device, buy‑and‑bill, rare disease, specialty pharmacy, or neurology; neurology and infused product experience preferred. Experience with U.S. healthcare industry, including delivery of care, market access, reimbursement landscape, and key stakeholder influence. Experience working with healthcare delivery systems (buy‑and‑bill, specialty pharmacy, distribution models, medical device, or biologics). Commercial function experience (sales training, marketing, managed markets, sales/business analytics) preferred. Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance and regulatory requirements preferred. Ability to navigate matrixed environments collaboratively.
Senior Specialist – AD:
Proven track record building and executing business plans for top markets within their geography. Demonstrated success in driving growth and profitability, establishing strong partnerships, and leveraging market insights. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary matrix teams within Eisai. Proven performance as a Specialist meeting promotion criteria.
Condition of Employment
