We are currently seeking a highly motivated Wholesale Insurance Account Executive to join our Property and Casualty Division.
Job Summary As an Account Executive at SWIS, you will manage the full lifecycle of renewal business for a portfolio of commercial accounts. This includes coordinating with retail agency partners, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate servicing of existing policies. The role requires proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and a strategic approach to marketing renewal submissions and negotiating competitive terms with carrier partners.
Functions & Responsibilities
Market and quote renewal business and additional coverages in a timely and competitive manner
Deliver high‑quality, professional customer service to clients and partners
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with retail brokers and carrier partners
Accurately maintain and update internal tracking reports and systems
Process renewal policies, endorsements, and related documentation
Manage service items including change requests, binders, certificates, and other transactional support
Respond promptly and professionally to daily communications from company underwriters and brokers
Support the training and development of Assistant Account Executives when applicable
Qualifications
Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities
Strong selling skills and ability to recommend cross‑selling opportunities
5‑7 years’ experience with a strong working knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance coverages
2‑5 years of Department Account Management & Service experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
P&C License
Required Skills
Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Travel: negligible
Education: Bachelor's degree (4‑year degree)

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $125,000–$150,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
