Responsible for the overall operation of the Circle K Ranch and the administration of the Equestrian Programs and supporting services at YMCA Camp Kern.

A 2-year degree or applicable experience is preferred.
CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen required within first 60 days of employment and kept current.
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in barn management, riding instruction, and equestrian staff supervision preferred.
Skills in barn management, strong organization, comfortable around a large herd, teamwork, and enthusiasm are required.
Must have a working knowledge of horses and care needed.
Must hold a valid driver’s license, insurable driver's record according to the YMCA’s insurance carriers, and be able to provide own transportation to travel for business meetings, training events, YMCA site visits, etc.
