
We are a reference lab servicing homebound patients in the Dallas Fort Worth Valley. The mobile phlebotomists are responsible for drawing blood and collecting specimen for lab testing. The ideal candidate has a good driving record, high attention to detail and drive to help patient. Scheduled shift: Shift 1
Sunday; 05:00 a.m. - 01:00 p.m.
Monday to Thursday; 07:30 a.m. to 03:30 p.m.
Shift 2
Thursday to Monday; 01:00 p.m. to 09:00 p.m.
Sunday; Morning.
Core Functions
Specimen collection at Nursing Homes, Assisted Living facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities & Private patient homes on the
Transportation of the specimen back to the main testing facility in Bedford TX (72011).
General laboratory specimen processing, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification and specimen integrity by using appropriate techniques for all age criteria as required
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum age requirement of 18.
Must be a high school graduate or have achieved equivalency through the GED exam.
Good reading, writing, and math abilities are required.
Good organizational skills are also required. Basic knowledge of department resource materials.
Previous experience of a minimum of 1 year in a clinical laboratory setting. Phlebotomy positions may substitute completion of a phlebotomy school for the experience. Basic computer skills are required.
Must possess a valid State driver's license and have a personal vehicle to use for specimen collections.
