Canopy NWA is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven AmeriCorps VISTA to support our Community Engagement team. This role is well-suited for someone who values relationship building and wants to help strengthen long-term systems that connect Canopy with the broader Northwest Arkansas community through engagement, education, and collaboration. The AmeriCorps VISTA will work closely with Canopy’s Partnerships team to support and strengthen relationships with community members, faith communities, small businesses, educational institutions, donors, and local partners. This is an indirect service, capacity-building position focused on improving internal systems, coordination, and sustainability rather than providing direct client services. The VISTA will assist with planning and supporting community-facing events such as World Refugee Day and other outreach and fundraising activities. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to build nonprofit capacity, strengthen community connections, and support inclusive systems that advance economic opportunity and belonging for newcomers and long-term residents in Northwest Arkansas.
