Role Named Account Executive – SLG

(State & Local Government)

Our SLG team is growing and we are seeking to hire a Named Account Executive who possesses a strong track record of selling enterprise software to Finance and Administration in the state of NYC.

This is a new business development, "hunter" role responsible for building long term relationships and growing revenue with State Government agencies. We seek 10+ years of sales experience with a commitment to deliver business outcomes that exceed expectations, and a motivated team player who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Day to Day / Responsibilities

Generate new business in existing accounts and in new markets; drive strategic, enterprise-wide xRM, analytics, and application platform initiatives.

Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.

Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.

Coordinate internal resources to meet customer business needs.

Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources to ensure strategic alignment.

Share value proposition for existing and/or new customers.

Drive growth within new and existing assigned accounts.

Work closely with customers as a trusted advisor to understand their unique challenges and goals; consult with customers on the Salesforce MuleSoft Platform to evangelize the solution.

Contribute to business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as a valued member of the team.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent relevant experience; experience evaluated based on core competencies (leadership roles, military, volunteer, work experience, etc.).

Named Account Executives require 10+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales, account management, and enterprise-level sales experience with a proven track record, with a focus on selling into Justice and Public Safety; strong NYC residency preferred.

Across all sales teams, attributes include: consultative selling, prospecting skills, strong communication, business acumen, competitive spirit, collaboration, resourcefulness, coachability, drive for results, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, strong executive presence, ROI articulation, solution selling, discovery, objection handling, planning and closing skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155,700 to $208,300 base pay.
