Title Account Executive – Creative Services

About the Role An Account Executive within Creative Services (In-House Agency) acts as a key link between Brand, Trade Marketing and the internal agency, responsible for building strong relationships, managing campaigns, and ensuring partner satisfaction. They develop and present strategies, oversee project execution, manage budgets, and coordinate with creative, digital and media teams to meet business objectives. Reporting to the Account Director, this position entails day-to-day interaction with internal and external business partners and vendors. They set clear expectations, negotiate timelines and ensure that work is delivered at the quality expected and through a transparent process. A successful candidate needs strong communication, organization, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
What You’ll Do
Relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business partners, acting as their primary point of contact for Creative Services.
Strategic planning: Work with partners to understand their business goals and marketing objectives, then collaborate with internal teams to develop result-driven strategies and programs.
Program management: Oversee all aspects of program development from start to finish, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordination: Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between departments like creative, operations, and production.
Performance analysis: Monitor program performance, analyze results, provide key learnings and recommended adjustments for optimization.
Budget and negotiation: Manage program budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within agreed financial constraints.
Problem‑solving: Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during execution, acting as a problem‑solver for both business partners and Creative Services.
What You’ll Bring
2–5 years in Agency or related marketing role with CPG and/or large‑scale retail experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Proactive problem‑solving abilities and resilience under pressure.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday), DAM systems, Office 360.
A strong understanding of marketing methods and industry trends.
Even Better If
Experience in regulated industries (alcohol, cannabis, pharma, tobacco).
Familiarity with retail environments (Target‑scale, Trader Joe’s).
Connecticut Hiring Range $82,000 – $91,000 USD
