About The Team The Global Alliances and Channels team drives growth by building and scaling go-to-market partnerships with world‑class professional services firms—including global systems integrators and consultancies—alongside strategic technology leaders like AWS, Salesforce, and Adobe. Our mission is to provide users with a comprehensive ecosystem of technology and industry expertise while ensuring Stripe and our partners build high‑growth, mutually beneficial businesses. We bridge the gap between Stripe’s platform and the specialized solutions our users need to scale globally.

What you’ll do As the Agentic Commerce and Retail Lead, you’ll drive partner strategy for this industry while delivering the thought leadership and credibility needed to build executive relationships and GTM solutions across partner Retail practices, expanding the value of our joint business. A priority focus for this role will be to align partners with the transformative shift toward AI‑driven shopping, ensuring they view Stripe as a strategic partner in this evolving landscape. You’ll work in tight alignment with Industry GTM, Agentic Commerce GTM, Product, Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Product Marketing teams.

You will define and scale retail‑specific Agentic solutions with select partners, embedding Stripe’s payments and billing infrastructure into the core of broader digital transformation initiatives. Success is measured by partner‑led user acquisition and revenue growth across this cohort.

Responsibilities

Identify, prioritize, and engage key Retail partners to build a global ecosystem that strengthens Stripe’s leadership in the industry

Accelerate next‑phase Agentic Commerce growth by developing joint partner solutions with our top partners

Facilitate effective co‑selling strategies and execution with partners for agentic solutions

Own and execute the end‑to‑end partner plan across enablement, solutions, marketing, investments, and GTM programs

Influence and align senior product and GTM leadership on strategy, priorities, and roadmap direction

Embed platform capabilities into partner Retail solutions to generate incremental pipeline through partner routes to market

Activate and collaborate with field teams to scale top‑of‑funnel and partner‑led pipeline generation

Enable and equip partners to consistently deliver high‑quality solutions and services

Evangelize our top partners internally across Stripe and externally with customers, analysts, and industry influencers

Support and advance enterprise deals in partnership with account teams through signature and activation

Partner and iterate with Product and GTM teams to capture insights and continuously refine industry‑leading solutions

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of experience leading field/partner teams with at least 4 years of global experience

Deep experience partnering with large GSIs (Accenture, PwC, Infosys, etc.)

Experience with enterprise software and services platforms including AWS, SFDC, Adobe, and similar products

Domain expertise in the Retail and Travel/Hospitality industries

Understanding of the landscape and market opportunities with Agentic Commerce

End‑to‑end retail knowledge, spanning content syndication through to order fulfillment

Enterprise expertise delivering complex, innovative solutions at scale

Proven track record of exceeding user acquisition and revenue targets

Proven ability to present and evangelize new products and solutions to executives (business and technical) and external audiences

Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional global teams, including product and sales

Preferred Qualifications

Experience defining and implementing new business models

Experience in a top‑tier Global SI firm or Enterprise Cloud Software firm

Start‑up and early‑stage company experience with demonstrated success growing customer adoption and top‑line revenue globally

Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office‑assigned Stripes are expected to spend at least 50% of the time in their local office or with users each month, balancing in‑person collaboration with flexibility. Remote employees should work from home unless otherwise required for meetings or events.

Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $172,900 – $259,300. Salary may be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Non‑US candidates may request salary information for their location during the interview. Benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and wellness stipends.
