They will need some basic stuff with designers like HTML / CSS and have an understanding of how these things function. They own multiple projects at a time, some of the projects are conceptual, the products they need help with immediately are advanced trading.

Helping with Green Meadows and need to have an understanding of trading. If they are a technical trader interested in UX. Their team is much more lean. If they have some fundamental understanding of trading and invest they will be fine. Technical trading is day trading making day trades. Similar to Bloomberg, but there is brand new way to do this and proprietary to and bring it to a wider audience and how do they build new features. From a design standpoint they should have mobile and desktop design. In terms of strategy the product is web based.

Description Your destination for discovering your next temporary role. We are currently sourcing for a UI / UX Designer to work (Center for Applied Technology) in Boston, MA!

The team This team in FCAT currently has 6 plus ongoing workstreams focused on a variety of AI models, behavioral economics, UX, user testing; with so many moving parts the project needs a vision-driven operations manager who can support these efforts and deliverables.

This work requires the ability to quickly shift gears between desirability, feasibility, and viability being able to both understand the goals and manage these multiple workstreams into an integrated experience.

The Expertise You Have

What we’re looking for 5+ years of experience in UI / UX design, with a portfolio that shows off your interface design chops

Expert-level skills in Figma and demonstrable experience with the Adobe Creative Suite

Ability to work with UI / Front end dev teams to support bringing designs to production

A solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and product thinking

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup

A self-starter who’s curious, adaptable, and always looking to learn

Experience with or an interest in financial services, technology, and emerging tech—bonus points if you know your way around trading

Great communication skills and a curiosity about storytelling through design
