Summary
Seeking a lawyer with a minimum of eight years’ experience handling commercial leases (office, industrial, retail). Solar leasing experience is valued but not required. The position is open to offices in Atlanta, Boston, California, Chicago, Miami, New York, Reston, Texas and Washington, DC.
Job Responsibilities
Lead attorney in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements (transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, letters of intent, work letters, SNDAs).
Supervise the work of less experienced leasing attorneys.
Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, property managers, brokers and other relevant parties.

Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.
Experience
Minimum 8 years drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements (term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, SNDAs).
Job Competencies & Desired Skills
Understanding of the commercial leasing market, including market rates for various lease types and related issues.
Experience with leases for office, retail, industrial and life science properties.
Substantial experience representing landlords.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to understand clients’ business objectives and produce work quickly and efficiently.
Strong negotiating, analytical, writing, and problem‑solving skills.
Attention to detail and good business judgment.
Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively and independently.
