Ability to Analyze Query plans, Trace files etc.
Troubleshooting Performance / Scalability issues including SQL tuning
Experience with Oracle utilities
Knowledge of UNIX / Linux server OS
Qualifications:
5 yrs. of experience as Database Administrator in Oracle product space
Technical competency in support of Oracle Databases 9iR2, 10g & 11g
Expertise in database tuning, partitioning, design database Indexes for high performance
Hands on expertise in Cloning requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to audience of multiple levels of knowledge.
Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving
Must be willing to be available on-call as and when needed
