is committed to promoting Siemens’ strong market position for delivering smart building technology for Fire Alarm Solutions (new construction) and Service (end-user) to help our customers create outstanding experiences. The Sales Manager leads a team responsible for transforming buildings to be digitally connected and controlled, and with strong leadership you’ll help hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention. Responsibilities

Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas. Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation. Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify buying priorities. Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives; assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, and assessing future business; establish executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers. Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with the team, develop sales forecasts, and provide input to sales targets. Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company; participate in the development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies. Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics; maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions. Travel overnight approximately 10% for training and business development. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or state-recognized GED 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in a similar industry Must be able to demonstrate: Technical proficiency in the commercial Fire Alarm/Fire Life Safety industry Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies Working knowledge of contracting with a tier of contractors Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Verbal and written communication skills in English Experience with Microsoft Office suite Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering Management experience in the construction industry Proficiency with Salesforce CRM NICET Level II Certification in Fire or higher Ready to create your own journey? Join us today. About Siemens
