Job Description
Position: BASE24 Consultant
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
6+ years of application development experience in BASE24 products.
Experience with BASE24‑ATM (NCR, Diebold, etc.) and BASE24‑POS on HP Tandem platform.
2+ years in an architect/designer level role.
Strong knowledge of ATM and POS device handlers and ISO message formats.
Ability to provide design solutions and work with different modules.
Strong development experience in BASE24, TAL, TACL, COBOL and Screen COBOL programming languages.
Expert knowledge in designing BASE24 modules AUTH, DH, EMV, HISO, VISA & MC.
Interface expert knowledge on PATHWAY, TAL, TACL, FUP, DEBUG.
Expert knowledge of ATM configuration files.
Expert knowledge of security modules such as HSM, Atalla, TSS & Key Encryption.
Proficiency in ISO 8583 message formats and global/regional card schemes (Visa, MC, NYCE, STAR, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and application‑level debugging skills.
Experience in the project development cycle.
Experience working with users/clients to specify complex business requirements.
Experience researching, evaluating alternative solutions, and making recommendations.
