We are looking to hire a Natural Gas Originator in Houston. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with established relationships within the Gulf, Midcontinent, and/or West region and a proven track record of structuring various natural gas transactions. Responsibilities
Proactively identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key natural gas market participants, including utilities, power generators, and industrials, municipalities, producers, and other marketers Drive business development by leveraging industry contacts and exploring new market opportunities, including pipelines, LNG, storage, and infrastructure. Develop and execute strategies to secure long-term natural gas supply and off-take agreements. Collaborate closely with internal trading, commercial, and risk management teams to structure competitive and profitable transactions. Travel to meet clients and attend industry events to strengthen relationships and promote business opportunities. Qualifications
Suggested minimum of 5+ years of experience in natural gas origination, business development, or related roles within an energy marketing or trading environment. Demonstrated experience structuring transactions, including physical and financial deals, including pipeline gas and transportation. Strong network of industry contacts. Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to independently generate new business opportunities.
