Job Description Summary The Senior Investment Performance Analyst is a key role within ERAC Investment team and reports directly to the Head of Treasury. This role will focus on enhancing analytical capabilities, improving forecasting accuracy, and ensuring data integrity across investment, operations and treasury deliverables. The position will partner with broader investments team, FP&A, Investment Accounting and other internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights, streamline reporting processes, and support strategic decision‑making.

ERAC is the reinsurance business unit under GE Aerospace’s Corporate Holdings; primarily focused on Long Term Care (LTC) and Life reinsurance segments. The ERAC Investment team manages a ~$50B investment portfolio backing reinsurance liabilities.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Reporting & Analytics

Monitor, analyze and track investment performance across various asset classes, mandates, and investment managers, including price and income components of total return

Identify discrepancies and outliers versus expectations, elevate and perform root cause analysis. Work cross functionally, including internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution

Prepare recurring Monthly Operating Review (MOR) materials including publishing various key performance indicators (KPIs) for the investment portfolio which are leveraged by CIO, Head of Investment Operations and portfolio managers for discussion with business leadership

Develop Investment Committee (IC) materials, including portfolio composition and trend analysis and drill down on the investment portfolio, transactions and initiatives

Create and maintain standard reporting frameworks for consistent quarterly deliverables, including IC Deck, MOR, performance reviews and other ad‑hoc reporting requirements

Oversee 1099 tax reporting processes, coordinating data and reconciliation with service providers

Long Range Forecasting

Support investment forecasting processes and ongoing model maintenance to project investment portfolio, performance and risk metrics over various time horizons

Own data readiness and accuracy for the long‑range forecasting process, including portfolio holdings/characteristics, target portfolio allocation, yield curves, default assumptions etc. to inform strategic decision making

Support scenario analysis and stress testing for investment portfolios to assess performance under varying market conditions

Data Quality & Governance

Perform periodic analytics checks and data quality reviews to proactively identify and resolve data exceptions across Investment platforms (incl. Clearwater and Aladdin) and collaborating with data management team on resolution

Support data governance processes including documentation on data sources, data transformation flows, and data definitions within various platforms to enhance broader team understanding and governance culture

Vendor Management

Monitor, track and oversee investment expenses, including analyzing actuals vs expectations and trend analysis

Streamline invoice processing workflows and vendor management to ensure timely approvals and payment scheduling

Identify and execute opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency by streamlining data flows between investment systems, reducing manual work, and driving automation of reporting and reconciliation tasks using existing tools (e.g. Power BI).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field

5+ years of experience in investment reporting and/or financial planning & analysis (FP&A) within financial services

Desired Characteristics

Working understanding of financial markets and instruments, including security reference data, attributes, and risk analytics, particularly for fixed income securities

Experience working directly with an investment reporting/analytics platform such as Blackrock Aladdin and an investment accounting platform such as Clearwater

Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis and using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BI tools

Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders

An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently, and consistently be a self‑starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals

Master’s degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent

Familiarity with executing efficient business processes and related tools to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and mitigate potential errors

Progress toward CFA designation a plus

The base pay range for this position is $86,000 - $115,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 3/31/26.
