THE ROLE: We are looking for a results-driven consumer PC channel sales leader to accelerate AMD's growth across North America. This role is responsible for scaling AMD's consumer PC business through OEM partners and the broader channel ecosystem, including retailers, e-tailers, corporate resellers, value‑added resellers, and distributors.

This leader will drive volume, market share, mix, and revenue while strengthening partner engagement, improving go‑to‑market execution, and maximizing the impact of sales and marketing investments. The role operates at the intersection of sales strategy, partner management, and execution, and plays a critical role in expanding AMD's presence across the consumer PC landscape.

A growth‑oriented sales leader with a strong track record in consumer PC or adjacent technology markets

Proven ability to scale revenue and market share through complex channel ecosystems

Strong relationship builder who can influence OEMs, retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders

Data‑informed decision maker who balances analytics with market insight and customer feedback

Confident communicator, comfortable engaging audiences ranging from partner teams to senior executives

Hands‑on operator who thrives in fast‑paced, competitive environments

Willingness to travel within North America as needed (approximately 25%+)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Channel Sales & Growth

Deliver AMD's consumer PC volume, share, mix, and revenue objectives across North America

Drive AMD consideration, platform adoption, and assortment decisions with major OEM and channel partners

Identify growth opportunities across retail, e‑tail, and distribution channels and execute plans to capture them

Go‑To‑Market & Partner Execution

Develop and execute partner sales and marketing strategies aligned to AMD's consumer PC priorities

Lead the execution of sales programs, promotions, and campaigns with key partners to drive sell‑through

Ensure partners are enabled on AMD's value proposition, product roadmap, and differentiation

Partner & Ecosystem Management

Manage and deepen relationships with organized retailers, OEM partners, and distributors

Secure partner buy‑in and alignment on joint business plans, promotions, and execution priorities

Coordinate with outsourced and external resources to support market execution

Forecasting, Insights & Reporting

Maintain accurate forecasting, funding management, and program tracking through AMD systems

Gather and report market intelligence, performance trends, and competitive insights

Partner with third‑party market analysis firms (e.g., IDC, NPD) to inform strategy and execution

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience in consumer PC sales, channel sales, product marketing, or related roles

Experience working with large retailers, OEMs, and merchant organizations strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and win new business through channel partners

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets

Strong understanding of channel ecosystems, partner economics, and go‑to‑market execution

Comfort working with sales analytics, forecasting tools, and performance reporting systems

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred

LOCATION Santa Clara, CA or Palo Alto, CA preferred
