Position Overview We are seeking a
Senior Purchasing Coordinator
in Houston, Texas. This on-site role is five days per week.
Responsibilities
Lead projects, prepare bid/contract packages for vendors, and track cost and contract information.
Assist with specification, product offering and contract development.
Track manufacturer agreements and manage materials lists in computer management systems.
Perform general administrative functions and coordinate with staff at the national purchasing office in Pennsylvania and other states.
Collaborate closely with design studio products.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of purchasing experience within the home building industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with JD Edwards and Microsoft Access (plus).
Knowledge of design and residential finish products is a plus.
