Duties This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Personnel/Modified Direct Hire Authority. Requirements & Qualifications GS-05: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.

GS-07 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures.

Assisting in decision making on contracting matters;

Aiding in modifying contracts that contain inadequate specification;

Participating in meetings to discuss acquisition requirements.

GS-09 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures.

Assisting in decision making on contracting matters consistent with the organization's goals;

Aiding in initiating and modifying contracts that contain inadequate specification;

Participating in meetings to discuss acquisition requirements;

Monitoring contractor performance for potential problems/delays.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
