Business Development is a collaborative business segment that delivers comprehensive financial wellness advice and solutions to clients and members. As the Business Development Representative, you will develop and nurture collaborative relationships with human resources decision-makers, or dedicated benefits managers across various industries to design customized engagements for their organization, which will provide employees of our Select Employer Groups and Business Partners with trusted advice and services including personal banking, financial education and budgeting tools, insurance and retirement plans. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal/external partners to create new opportunities while proactively expanding our client base.

Essential Functions
Execute relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a portfolio of business to grow members, revenue, and market share.
Build high‑propensity pipeline to support revenue growth.
Initiate contact with prospects to expand current portfolio of Business Partners.
Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify new leads and convert sales opportunities.
Build an effective network of internal and external relationships through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Actively identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.

Required Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in sales, portfolio management, or community outreach environment
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
5+ years' experience in sales, business development, or marketing
Familiar with credit union philosophy, structure, and products
Experience building relationships with community organizations and local business leaders
