Indirect Business Development Professional – Vermont & New Hampshire This opportunity may be perfect for you if you have experience in:

Building and scaling strategic partnerships Industry leading Indirect Lending expertise Dynamic market representation driving sales results

About this position Responsible for accomplishing marketing objectives and department goals of attracting new business and expanding current relationships. Create and maintain dealer connections to facilitate communications and information exchange. Work with management to integrate business development activities with goals. Maximize our regional footprint by driving strategic dealer partnerships and business development primarily within the Vermont and New Hampshire market.

Please note this is an outside sales position, residence within or near the assigned geographic territory is required.

Essential Job Functions

Pursue new business from present and prospective dealers and seek opportunities to solicit referrals; execute new dealer Retail Installment and Reserve Agreements as required.

Represent the Company at various dealer functions; maintain membership in automobile associations and other organizations beneficial to business development efforts.

Remain current on industry trends, new loan products/programs in dealer market, and business climate; analyze trends and changes to anticipate and react as appropriate.

Review dealer performance with Dealer Principals and/or Finance Manager on a regular basis; provide supplies such as contracts, applications, rate sheets, etc. to dealers.

Provide periodic reports to management; share knowledge and expertise with other members of Indirect Lending team as appropriate.

Participate actively in community as designated by Company Community Service Requirements.

What you will need to thrive in this role In addition to your work and life experiences, as well as your passion and excitement for the profession, you would benefit from having:

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience required

6 years experience in Indirect Lending, automobile retail business or related positions

Skills/Knowledge

Excellent communications skills, written and verbal; ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, management and community/business leaders

Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills a plus

Knowledge of current lending regulations, automobile industry, indirect lending products/services preferred

Solid organizational and mathematical skills; ability to work independently and contribute to team

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

Other

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel to call on dealers required

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year plus commission commensurate with experience and education. Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual incentive program, subject to individual and company performance.
