Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural concrete projects. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine costs. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates. Identify and evaluate project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Present and explain estimates to stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns. Support the project team throughout the bid and project execution phases. Profile
A strong background in construction cost estimating, particularly in structural concrete projects. Proficiency with estimating software and tools used in the construction industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
