
Texas Monthly has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Resource Manager and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Lead to support the sales organization in revenue growth and client development. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales support and account management with a background in CRM and other operating systems that support the media landscape.
They will act as the primary lead for the CRM and ensure that the database stays clean, up to date, and that all users are following best practices. They will take pride and ownership in managing this database on behalf of Texas Monthly advertising. This role will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support local and national sellers in client and account management
Manage and communicate across the organization on the status of media projects
Manage revenue reporting up to the executive management team
Revenue stream management around new products and special projects
Coordinate across multiple departments to drive a successful client experience
Support on sales projects, reporting, events, and daily tasks that help to advance growth across the sales organization
Successful candidates will possess the following skills/abilities:
Collect creative and media assets from clients that align with client campaigns
Coordinate and support the sales team with client meetings, seminars, trade show/conference participation, registrations, sponsorships, and membership dues
Attend CRM training and general in-house support for sellers that include CRM, Maintenance & Support
Revenue stream management for the product portfolio, including special projects are allocated to correct revenue streams.
Coordinate office operations and support, with technology and the Enterprise Tech Team
Coordinate client incentives and oversee the distribution of materials to clients
Create and manage contract development within CRM
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High sense of urgency
Successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

General understanding of billing and accounting processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in CRM software, such as MediaOS, Salesforce or Hubspot
Soft skills such as patience, adaptability, and empathy
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience
General understanding of other Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Nice to have experience in AirTable, WordPress, or Google Analytics
