is seeking an experienced
Ocean Export Agent
to join its Los Angeles operations team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability and progression as the business continues to expand across the US market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
end-to-end ocean export operations
from booking through final delivery
Handle FCL and LCL shipments in line with customer and carrier requirements
Prepare and process all export documentation including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings
Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas offices, agents, and customers
Maintain accurate shipment records within
CargoWise
Support
Dangerous Goods
shipments where applicable, ensuring compliance with regulations
Requirements
Previous experience in an
Ocean Export role
within a freight forwarding environment
CargoWise experience is essential
Any exposure to
Dangerous Goods
is highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of ocean export processes and documentation
Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
