Job Description
Director of Facilities and Maintenance The Director of Facilities and Maintenance leads and supervises the departments responsible for the maintenance, management, and upkeep of district facilities. They lead the district response to emergencies and incidents to coordinate efforts in ensuring continuity of instruction as it relates to facilities. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance works with the team at Operations to provide safe and healthy facilities for students and staff. They serve as a key contact for schools related to ensuring efficient and effective use of LPS facilities in alignment with district policies. They will provide leadership in efforts to maximize and enhance the district's utilization of technology systems as it relates to facilities. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance will set goals and the direction for the best methods to enhance day-to-day operations of facilities in LPS. Position to begin July 1, 2026 This position is subject to a veterans preference.
