Description Through administrative support, this role works with all members of the community engagement team to ensure that the team is engaged and active within the communities AMOREM serves.

Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide telephone backup as scheduled

Enter all contributions daily

Acknowledge all contributions as outlined in policy and procedure

Produce annual list of contributors for website

Maintain contribution system and reporting, prepare and proof acknowledgement letters

Collaborate with accounting to complete month-end and year-end reports for donations, grants, etc.

Complete weekly deposit of donations

Maintain electronic files of donations for accounting

Maintain an up-to-date newsletter mailing list

Assist the chief growth and development officer with all fundraising and non-fundraising events and activities as needed

Under the direction of the chief growth and development officer, ensure all donations are documented appropriately and placed in designated funds with or without restrictions

Run accurate monthly and annual reports on giving trends, amount raised, new donors, etc.

Complete minutes for the community engagement meetings

Assist in all mailings (newsletter, appeals, etc.)

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Word required

Proven performance in meeting deadlines with a high rate of accuracy

Proven accuracy with data entry input

Excellent telephone skills

Knowledge of accounting practices, etc.

Must adhere to strict confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications Education

High school diploma required

Associate degree in secretarial science or computer technology preferred

Licensures & Certifications

Raiser’s Edge NXT Professional Certification strongly preferred

Physical Demands

Visual acuity to read written documentation and computer tasks

Ability to sit extended periods of time and perform administrative tasks

Ability to stand, bend and lift an average of 30 pounds

Manual dexterity with the ability to manipulate office equipment and keyboard for extended periods of time

Ability to walk, squat, kneel, climb and balance

Special Requirements

Must have an automobile with required insurance coverage and state driver’s license
