Role Overview We are seeking an Executive Business Partner to CEO (Chief of Staff‑lite) — Hybrid to partner directly with the CEO and support the broader C‑suite. This role is designed to reduce day‑to‑day operational burden, strengthen executive operating cadence, and ensure follow‑through on the company’s most important priorities.
This role serves as a force multiplier for the CEO and executive leadership team. It blends high‑level executive support with Chief of Staff‑lite responsibilities, including business rhythm management, executive coordination, and strategic project support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, business‑savvy, discreet, and comfortable operating in close partnership to senior leadership, the board, and external stakeholders (including our PE sponsors). This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, resource‑conscious environment and enjoys solving problems that don’t yet have a clear owner. This role is anticipated to be approximately 60% executive support and cadence ownership and 40% cross‑functional coordination and strategic projects.
Core Responsibilities
Provide primary executive support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel coordination, and priority management
Support other C‑suite and executive leaders (CFO, CRO, etc.) with executive coordination and preparation as needed
Act as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison between executives and internal and external stakeholders
Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow‑ups for executive meetings
Assist the CEO in managing leadership communications and follow‑through across direct reports
Rhythm of Business & Board Support
Own the executive Rhythm of Business (RoB), including:
Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs)
Board meetings
Executive off‑sites
Company Town Halls
Coordinate board materials, timelines, and inputs across Finance, Operations, Product, and Sales
Manage board meeting production workflows, including inputs, drafting, QA, versioning, and final delivery
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of executive and board‑level reporting
Track action items and follow‑through from executive and board meetings
Chief of Staff – Lite Responsibilities
Track CEO and executive priorities; support accountability and progress across leadership initiatives
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to coordinate KPI reporting and strategic goal tracking
Draft executive communications, presentations, and internal updates on behalf of leadership
Prepare executive briefing notes, summaries, and decision support materials
Serve as an internal connector across departments, helping resolve bottlenecks and misalignment
Lead or support strategic, cross‑functional projects that do not clearly sit within a single function
Scale & Operational Readiness
Support increased leadership rigor, reporting discipline, and stakeholder readiness as the company grows
Help standardize executive processes, documentation, and communication to improve clarity and consistency
Reduce dependency on the CEO for day‑to‑day coordination by building repeatable operating mechanisms
Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in executive support, Chief of Staff, operations, consulting, or similar roles. Experience supporting a CEO (or President/GM) in a scaling company strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
Proven experience supporting senior executives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments
Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to influence without authority
Experience in SaaS, PE‑backed, or high‑growth companies strongly preferred
Comfortable operating with limited direction and anticipating executive needs
Experience preparing board or investor materials preferred
Strong comfort with financial and KPI reporting
Demonstrated ability to manage recurring executive cadences independently
Compensation & Benefits
Base and Performance Bonus Opportunity
Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), company‑sponsored disability, EAP and PTO
Why This Role Matters
Direct leverage on the CEO and leadership team during a critical growth phase.
Exposure to board‑level operations, executive decision‑making and private equity governance.
Opportunity to grow into a long‑term Chief of Staff or senior operations role.
Ability to shape how a leadership team operates as the company scales.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to sit at the center of company execution, not as the decision‑maker, but as the operator who ensures decisions turn into results.
