Position Summary The Event Planner & Company Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing internal and external events that strengthen company culture, elevate brand presence, and drive employee engagement. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and budget oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing people together, and can turn ideas into well-executed experiences.

Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Execution

Plan and coordinate company events (meetings, celebrations, trainings, retreats, networking events, career fairs, etc.)

Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics

Secure venues, vendors, catering, entertainment, and supplies

Coordinate event setup, breakdown, and on-site management

Ensure events align with company brand and culture

Employee Engagement & Culture

Develop and implement initiatives that increase employee engagement and morale

Organize team-building activities and recognition programs

Collaborate with leadership to enhance workplace culture

Gather feedback and measure event/engagement effectiveness

Vendor & Budget Management

Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors

Track expenses and ensure events stay within budget

Maintain relationships with preferred venues and suppliers

Marketing & Communication Support

Assist with event promotion (internal and external)

Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, and event communications

Work with marketing to align branding and messaging

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred

2+ years of event planning or engagement experience preferred

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
