Responsibilities We are seeking a data‑driven and technically proficient SEO and AI Optimization Analyst to support and advance our organic growth strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for improving and protecting SEO performance on our current website, leading SEO strategy and execution throughout an upcoming CMS migration, and developing AI Optimization strategies to enhance visibility across AI‑powered search and answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You will operate at the intersection of marketing, content, analytics, and engineering to ensure our digital ecosystem is fully optimized for both traditional search engines and emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms. Experience in the cruise, travel, or hospitality industry is a strong plus. You will also perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

Technical SEO & Site Optimization:

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, and internal linking to assess the overall health of the site. You will identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, metadata, canonicalization, and content duplication, ensuring a strong technical foundation. Your work includes optimizing page templates and structured content for improved search performance while partnering closely with engineering teams to implement technical SEO best practices. You will also monitor key site performance metrics such as LCP, CLS, and INP, continuously improving speed, stability, and search visibility.

CMS Migration SEO Leadership:

In this role, you will develop and own the end‑to‑end SEO strategy for our transition to a new CMS, ensuring a seamless and search‑safe migration. You will create a detailed URL mapping and 301‑redirect strategy, audit and safeguard high‑value SEO pages and backlinks, and maintain the integrity of structured data, metadata, and internal linking throughout the process. Your responsibilities include performing thorough pre‑launch and post‑launch validation to prevent traffic loss, as well as monitoring rankings and traffic stability after launch to ensure continued performance and visibility.

AI Optimization (AIO) / Answer Engine Optimization:

Optimize content for AI‑powered discovery platforms by developing structured, entity‑rich, and semantically clear content frameworks that improve how information is interpreted by AI models. You will implement schema markup and broader structured data strategies to enhance machine understanding and retrieval. You will identify opportunities to create AI‑friendly FAQ, Q&A, and knowledge‑based content that supports visibility across generative AI search experiences. Additionally, you will monitor brand presence within AI‑generated responses and develop KPIs and reporting to measure and improve AI search performance over time.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion impact to assess the effectiveness of SEO and AI optimization efforts. You will build dashboards that clearly measure performance across both SEO and AIO initiatives, enabling ongoing visibility into key trends. Using these insights, you will provide data‑driven recommendations to improve results and identify areas of opportunity. Additionally, you will conduct competitor analysis to uncover strategic growth opportunities and strengthen our position across search and AI‑driven platforms.

Content & Keyword Strategy:

Conduct keyword research aligned with business priorities to inform content planning and opportunities for growth. You will develop content briefs that reflect search intent and incorporate AI optimization principles, ensuring content is structured for both traditional search engines and AI‑driven platforms. You will collaborate closely with content teams to apply on‑page best practices and maintain consistency across digital experiences.
