Regulatory Compliance:
Manage Harmonized System (HS) classifications, ECCN/export classification, country of origin (COO) determinations, and FTA eligibility. Operational Control:
Oversee customs clearance for air, ocean, and ground shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international regulations. Process Improvement:
Design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and embed automated, preventive compliance checkpoints into supply chain workflows. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Logistics teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and resolve import/export bottlenecks. Risk Mitigation:
Monitor compliance metrics, manage Import/Exporter of Record (IoR/EoR) registration, and manage risks related to EAR/ITAR. Data Analysis:
Use data to track performance, identify trends, and report to leadership on trade compliance health. Required Qualifications
Experience in international trade, customs brokerage, or import/export compliance. Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, including HS codes and FTA utilization. Ability to work with complex data to drive process improvements. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field. 5 – 10 years of experience as trade compliance specialist Salary Range:
