VOLTARI is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast region of the United States to lead institutional growth across law enforcement, ports, public safety agencies, utilities, and defense‑adjacent customers.
The ideal candidate brings operational credibility (preferably from maritime law enforcement, Coast Guard, Navy, port authority, or institutional fleet operations), the ability to navigate public sector and corporate institutions, and experience engaging customers with professionalism and authority. This individual should be a self‑starter, and while working well in a team environment.
Background in maritime law enforcement, Coast Guard/Navy, port operations, defense, or institutional fleet management is an asset.
Applicant will need to be based out of either the San Diego or Los Angeles metropolitan regions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Institutional Account Development
Build and manage relationships with law enforcement, ports, and public agencies
Develop regional pipeline aligned with fleet transition and multi‑vessel opportunities
Manage long‑cycle procurement processes and RFP engagement
2. Demonstration & Mission Engagement
Lead structured on‑water demonstrations for decision‑makers
Conduct operator‑level briefings grounded in duty‑cycle realities
Translate field insights into actionable internal feedback
3. Strategic Sales Execution
Participate in proposal development and lifecycle cost discussions
Support executive engagement on priority accounts
Track pipeline and performance metrics with discipline
4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with Government Relations & Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and procurement‑ready materials
Contribute regional intelligence to product and strategy discussions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be an avid boater with robust experience towing, launching and operating small craft (26‑55 foot)
Experience with sales and account management with commercial, workboat or government customers
Strong presentation and relationship‑building skills
Self‑starter comfortable in a dynamically evolving growth‑stage environment
