Description We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Foreman to oversee roofing installation, repair, and maintenance projects for commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of roof systems, and the ability to manage crews effectively to deliver high-quality work within budget.
Your Duties
Supervise and manage a team of roofers to ensure project completion according to specifications, safety standards, and timelines
Inspect jobsites before, during, and after installation to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations
Assign tasks to crew members and provide guidance and training as needed
Communicate with project and operations managers and address concerns and questions
Ensure safety procedures are always followed
Promote proper work ethic and enforce company policies, procedures, and practices
Perform other duties as assigned by management
What You Bring
5 years of experience in commercial roofing
2 years of experience in a supervising or leadership role
Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills, written and oral communication skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb ladders, and balance
Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
