Lead Carpenter
, you will be responsible for leading job sites, managing crews, and ensuring that every project meets our high standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, meaning you'll work alongside your team while also managing workflow, quality control, and communication with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee and participate in carpentry work for high-end outdoor living projects. Lead a crew of carpenters and laborers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to execute builds accurately. Maintain a safe and organized job site while enforcing safety regulations. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Train and mentor team members to help develop their skills. Monitor materials and ensure proper use and inventory management. Communicate with the project manager regarding job progress, challenges, and scheduling. What We're Looking For 5 or more years of experience in carpentry/construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of framing, trim work, and outdoor construction techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans. Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset. Ability to problem-solve on the job and adapt to changing priorities.
