About The Position We’re seeking a curious, hands-on Growth Marketing Specialist to join Gather and help drive our next phase of growth. In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing and leadership to execute and optimize campaigns that generate demand, support revenue growth, and expand Gather’s presence within the funeral profession.
This role is ideal for a mid-career marketer with experience launching and optimizing digital campaigns, growing brands, creating content, and generating leads. You should be a deep marketing generalist who is excited to learn, test, and iterate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll have real ownership over campaign execution, marketing KPIs, and the opportunity to grow into a more senior growth role over time with direct mentorship from marketing leadership. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaign testing, messaging, and creative direction.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with product launches, partnerships, and company initiatives.
Help maintain clean tracking and reporting through tools such as GA4, pixels, and UTMs.
Set up, manage, and optimize paid digital campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
Support demand generation initiatives by launching, testing, and iterating on campaigns that drive qualified leads and new business.
Use design tools to create, adapt, and iterate on marketing assets across print, digital, and video formats while adhering to brand guidelines.
Support lifecycle marketing efforts, including basic email or nurture campaigns.
Assist with maintaining CRM marketing hygiene, including list management, tagging, segmentation, and basic data cleanup to ensure accurate reporting and campaign execution.
Support the execution of state conferences, national conventions, and industry events, including pre-event promotion, on-site marketing support, and post-event follow-up coordination.
Assist in developing and executing print marketing campaigns, including flyers, brochures, signage, and event collateral.
Document learnings, experiments, and processes to support scalable growth over time.

Comfortable owning creative execution end-to-end – from concept to production to iteration – using tools like Canva, Figma, video editing software, or similar platforms.
Comfort learning new tools, platforms, and workflows quickly.
A bias toward action, testing, and continuous improvement.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
