The Marketing Coordinator is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and creative marketer who helps execute integrated campaigns that drive awareness, attendance, exhibitor engagement, and revenue.
Reporting tothe Marketing Manager, as the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for attendee and exhibitor marketing campaign execution in support of South Florida Ventures. You play a key role in supporting the delivery and success of marketing initiatives and campaigns that generate awareness, increase attendance and engagement of retailers, and drive revenue for our portfolio of shows while helping our customers (retailers and brands) grow their own businesses.
This role thrives in a fast-paced events environment where priorities shift daily, from building and deploying Eloqua campaigns, to coordinating creative asset delivery, to managing vendors, web updates, and onsite communications.
Role Accountability and Duties:
Assist with planning, pacing, executing and reporting all marketing campaigns, both online and offline
On-going management of marketing campaigns, including delivery of tactics like email blasts, direct mail, web content and other tactics aligned with established marketing plans and objectives
Audience segmentation/lists, suppression logic, and targeting. Email builds, QA, deployment, and post-send performance review. Canvases and campaign flows creation on Eloqua (as applicable).
Support marketing team in ensuring that campaigns, projects, and initiatives are on schedule and on budget
Support content creation and copy management for: email campaigns, landing pages, website content, and forms. Create conversion-oriented messaging updates (headlines, CTAs, value props)
Work with marketing managers, creative team, and brand teams on development and delivery of needed marketing materials; own delivery within calendar deadlines
Support the execution of multidimensional brand sponsorship marketing campaigns
Manage media partners for show and campaign promotion. Coordinate promotional deliverables, deadlines, assets, and tracking links, and ensure partner placements align to brand identity, messaging and timelines.
Actively contribute creative ideas for new campaign initiatives based on past campaign performance, current trends and understanding of marketing and business objectives
Update marketing copy, content on brand AEM websites and other owned channels as needed and as directed by marketing leads, content team; work with brand managers and creative team to ensure updates are reflective of the brand look, feel, and voice
Write creative, impactful, conversion-optimized marketing copy for a variety of purposes, platforms, and channels; work with cross functional teams (digital, copywriting/communications) to optimize marketing copy for conversion
Create emails and briefing documents for call center and retail relations campaigns
Support PR and brand expansion efforts through content development and outreach coordination (in collaboration with comms/brand leads)
Manage advocacy and Ingo campaigns, coordinating content, timing, and channel execution
Reporting and analysis: Ensure tracking and reporting on campaigns is delivered on schedule; manage post event analysis and report creation
Provide budgetary support including billing, raise purchase orders (POs), coding of invoices, reconciliation and tracking
Provide onsite support during shows and events
Provide support to Sr Marketing Manager and marketing team on additional/other initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications
2+ years proven work experience within the marketing space
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to take projects and run with them
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience executing multi-channel campaigns (email + web + content + offline/partner channels)
Strong copywriting and editing skills with an eye for clarity, conversion, and brand voice
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements
B2B experience and understanding of industry a plus
Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns utilizing offline, online, content and social media marketing strategies
Ability to analyze and interpret data and create reports used to provide insight to key stakeholders
Eloqua expertise: campaign builds, segmentation, deployment, and performance reporting
AEM management including updates to web pages and ESA frames management
Project management proficiency with Jira or Monday.com, leveraging an agile approach to planning, sprinting, and delivery
Comfortable working with tracking links/UTMs, basic QA, and cross-channel campaign coordination
Proficiency in web content management platform, MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Experience using Salesforce.
Adobe Analytics knowledge is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish is desired. Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
