In this role, you will: Develop, maintain, and grow a market-specific annual budget, achieving sales goals for your designated retail location. Meet revenue targets by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities. Engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver comprehensive solutions through market intelligence and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process. Work closely with the General Manager to propose solutions that benefit both the customer and the company, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. Partner with strategic allies to conduct joint consultations and develop market solutions as opportunities arise. Key skills and behaviors required:
Ability to effectively hunt for new business and farm existing accounts. Strong analytical skills to assess business and industry landscapes. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset. Excellent listening and communication skills, with a focus on customer empathy and problem-solving. Proficiency in handling conflicts constructively. Physical requirements include:
Frequent travel by car, typically 1-2 hours at a time. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and occasionally lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, though a combination of education and experience will be considered. Sales experience and strong knowledge of office and calendar management are advantageous.
