Job Summary

The Human Resource Student Data Specialist will support the University through the entry and analysis of student employment information into our central system (including hires, transfers, terminations, etc.). This position will also help with data checking, personnel filing, alphabetizing, organizing employment files, and front desk coverage.

This position requires the ability to be detail-oriented and thorough, work for long periods of time at a computer, and work within a team of professionals to collaborate on best practices for data entry and retention. The incumbent will work in a highly confidential setting.

Pay Rate

$15.50/hour

Required Qualifications

1. Detail oriented 2. Good Excel skills 3. Available to work 3-4 hours per day, 4-5 days per week during business hours (8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday) 4. Availability to work at least 12 weeks during the summer 5. Availability to work over winter break

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior data entry experience 2. Majoring in Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a related field

Work Hours

3-4 hours per day, at least 4 days per week during business hours (8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday).

Special Instructions for Applicants

When uploading your work availability, please give the hours you are able to work Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Indicate if you would be available to work over the winter break (closed between 12/24-1/1) and at least 12 weeks over the summer break. This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review, based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation and/or an employment history review.
