Beyondata + Smx is seeking a senior sap master data governance functional consultant to support a federal sap s/4hana transformation. This role will lead the design and deployment of sap master data governance to establish standardized, compliant, and auditable master data processes across finance and supply chain domains. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end sap master data governance implementation including design, configuration, testing, and deployment Design and configure master data governance data models for material, business partner, supplier, customer, and finance master data Define and implement governance workflows, approvals, and change request management Configure data quality rules, validations, derivations, and duplicate checks Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops and align business requirements with master data governance best practices Integrate master data governance with core sap modules (fi, mm, sd, pp, ewm, pm, etc.) Support data migration, data cleansing, and alignment of legacy data with master data governance models Collaborate with technical teams on integration (ale/idocs, soa, s/4hana replication) Develop functional design documents, configuration documentation, and test scenarios Support unit testing, integration testing, and uat for master data governance processes Provide knowledge transfer and support to client stakeholders and support teams Required skills & experience: Active secret-level clearance is required 10+ years of sap functional consulting experience Proven hands-on experience with sap master data governance, including at least one full lifecycle implementation on s/4hana Strong expertise in master data governance data models, workflows, validations, and change request processes Solid understanding of master data integration with fi, mm, sd, pp, ewm, and related modules Experience supporting data governance, data quality, and data migration initiatives Ability to translate business requirements into standardized master data governance solutions Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments preferred Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred qualifications: federal or regulated environment experience, large - multi-entity erp landscapes, sap activate / fit-to-standard delivery experience & ecc to s/4hana transformation background application deadline: march 31, 2026 at smx, we are a team of technical and domain experts dedicated to enabling your mission.
