This position is responsible for coordinating the handling of documentation and advances for clearance, delivery of freight after clearance, and monitoring and control all entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations. Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments by working with forwarders on a daily basis and ensuring POD is supplied. Expediting and tracing as required. Determination of profit levels and billing. Processing required customs documentation. Development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes. Above average written and verbal communication skills. Showcasing your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook. Identifying potential challenges/risks and solving problems efficiently or working with Leaders for a solution. Fostering a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team. Effectively prioritizing and managing the teams multiple and personal tasks to meet KPIs and deadlines. Providing the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed. What we need from you: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum three years of relevant work experience. Intermediate MS Office experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times. Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other office locations in CAD/USA/MEX.
