In this role, you will serve as a core intelligence resource, working directly alongside hospital executives and senior leadership. This is a unique opportunity to gain high-level exposure and see your analytical insights translate into real-world capital projects and long-term ministry growth. Strategic Intelligence & Market Scanning: Serve as the primary resource for general analytics. You will conduct periodic market-level scans and assessments to inform the Wisconsin market's Strategic Plan, identifying emerging trends, competitor moves, and growth opportunities. Long-Term Strategic Planning: Develop the essential analytical inputs for our long-term strategic plan. Your work will directly influence ambulatory strategies, service line development, and high-stakes capital project business plans. System Optimization: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify gaps, variations, and duplications of services. You will play a critical role in ensuring our clinically integrated system of care operates at peak efficiency and provides seamless patient experiences. Master Facility Planning: Support the physical evolution of our ministry. This includes performing utilization forecasts, capacity analyses, and sophisticated in-migration/out-migration studies to guide our master facility planning process. Subject Matter Expert: This role will collaborate with the CSO, ELT, and other facility & medical group senior leaders to develop, articulate, and support market level initiatives. Strategic Advisor: Serve as a thought partner to Ascension Wisconsin leaders across multiple disciplines (Medical Group, Facility, Service Line, etc.). Requirements

Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. Additional Preferences

Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in healthcare data sets, market share analysis, and financial modeling. Strategic Mindset: The ability to look beyond the "what" to explain the "why," providing actionable recommendations to senior leaders. Collaborative Spirit: A desire to work in a "small but mighty" team environment where agility and cross-functional communication are paramount. Industry Exposure: Some previous experience working within the healthcare industry preferred. Wisconsin Market Knowledge: A baseline understanding of the Wisconsin healthcare landscape, including regional demographics and provider dynamics preferred. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred) with 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or healthcare operations.
