At the GS-5/7/9 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the Full Performance Level (GS-12), you will: Resolve problems inherent in the contracting and teaming processes and provide training to junior team members. Coordinate contractor's requests for waivers or deviations from contract specifications. Perform comprehensive acquisition planning, analysis, and negotiation for repair and/or spare parts acquisitions in support of managed equipment. Develop the contractual strategy and acquisition plan utilizing various innovative contracting vehicles. Evaluate requests for equitable adjustment and special financing provisions. Negotiate changes in price(s), terms and conditions due to contract modifications, supplementary agreements, settlements from change orders due to defective specifications, changed site conditions(s), etc. Requirements

GS-05: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures. GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures. Basic Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. In addition to the above basic requirement, in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-05: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. GS-07: 1 full academic year of graduate education or law school or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
